About this project
When I got my Zaurus a few weeks ago, I knew that it was a Linux machine and that it maybe some work to get it to run. But I thought also that there will be enough information on the web to assist me.
Unfortunately I had to found out, that there was a lot of information but spread at various places: private website, official websites, weblogs, FAQ and mailinglist archives.
"If you need information, just google for it!"
But, I didn't bought this pda to google the net, but to have a fancy hacker gadget in my pocket. Instead of "googling" I wanted to use it as a PIM, an mobile MP3 and OGG player, watching movies and do some wardriving and webdesign on it.
If you miss something, there are only 2 solutions: cry or DIY (do-it-yourself).
That was the reason, why I setup this site that should serve as a complete documentation about linux-pda's, starting with the SL-5500.
I hope you'll find answers to the questions you came here for, if not, don't hestiate to ask or .. aehm ... google the web!
